Fitness Styles.
Tai Chi & Qigong. A gentle way of fitness that enhances balance, energy and flexibility while calming the mind. Tai Chi improves joint mobility and coordination. It exercises the memory and teaches the importance of mental focus. Tai Chi and Qigong have countless benefits and have been practiced as self-healing exercise and meditation for hundreds of years. They can be performed any time and any place where it is quiet, either barefoot or with comfortable footwear.
Zumba Fitness. Fun, fun, fun! A dance fitness program that combines elements of aerobics and Latin dances beats. A fusion of fast and slow rhythms tone and sculpt the body. Achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits.
Ballroom, Latin & Social Dancing. Whether you are preparing for your wedding dance or learning for fun. Dance increases blood circulation, keeps joins lubricated in order to prevent arthritis, and elevates your mood by releasing endorphins. Dance exercises your memory by making you recall steps and routines, making it a great mental exercise.
Combined Tai Chi & Classical Stretch. Classical Stretch helps people of all ages and fitness levels rebalance their bodies, increase mobility and keep joints healthy and pain-free. Based on the intelligent fitness technique Essentrics, each 30-minute session features a full-body workout with dynamic strengthening and stretching exercises: all-standing, all-floor or all-barre. Stress is released and aches and pains are soothed through the gradual unlocking of the entire body.

Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30pm-8:30pm

Your Exercise Program.
Design your exercise program by combining Tai Chi, Zumba and/or Dance. It's your fitness, so choose the best for you. If you can't come to me, I can come to you and your workplace. A half-hour workout during a lunch break will help you refresh and become more productive. If you don't feel comfortable with a group, private lessons are available and affordable. Group event lessons can also be arranged by booking ahead of time. I can also travel to your community and provide dance workshops of a few hours. Whatever your fitness needs will be, I am a phone call away.
The Instructor.
Pacita (Paz) Milburn is a certified Zumba Instructor and Family Y Group Fitness Instructor. She has been practicing Tai Chi since 1996 and all social dance styles since 2004. She is a former president of the Dance North Ballroom Dance Club in Prince George. She has been organizing Boogie with the Stars since its inception in 2010 and has been the 1st Place winner three times: 2011 (Jive), 2012 (Salsa) & 2013 (Argentine Tango).
